#JOTW Prima Mahenge in JuliaB setting

I was going to wait until I could take more pics, hoping the sun would come out for longer than 30 seconds, but what can I say…I'm excited. I picked up two rings today, and I think each deserves its own thread.

She didn't, though I believe she changed her policy. I told her the measurements, she sent the settings, my local guy set the stones.

Thank you, all! This was actually Julia's idea. I honestly had no idea how I was going to set the Mahenge, and she had my other project on the go, and told me about the new setting she had come up with for her site, and the rest is history.

That's really beautiful NKOTB. I'm actually getting an almost identical art deco style setting for a cushion mahenge, so this gives me a sneak peak at what mine might look like.

Does Julia B set outside stones, or did you order the setting from her, and had your own jeweler set it?

Either case, it looks to be a fabulous setting job, and the stone fits perfectly.

Really beautiful stone and setting. I would stare at it all day. I have a question about the prongs, is one less pointy than the other three? Can't tell if it's a reflection.
