You guys have been fantastic participants. The pics are gorgeous and creative!

Just to let ya know that we are giving you one more week to post those last few shots, for those of you who didn''t get around to it until now. The deadline will be December 30th.

For the rest of you, please have your high resolution (3 mega pixels or higher) pics available. I will be sending you an email requesting the pics.

I guess the deadline has arrived. I am sorry that I do not have the photographic equipment to participate. I saw some familiar photos among those submitted, and some really beautiful ones. I think this will turn out great!

I may be too late to nominate but I think www.kwaze-kwasa.com could be a good charity to select.

Its an online jewellery store dedicated to the impoverished AIDS-impacted communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and provides sustainable employment. All products are made under fair trade contracts and every worker receives a livable wage above local market rates. It's not diamond focused but IMO it combines all the criteria mentioned in the beginning of this thread.

Franky, can you accept TIFF files?
Is there an upper limit to the file size your email system can accept - obviously one attachment per email is best.

They are higher resolution than JPEG which, even at their highest quality, have bee compressed.

Hi there Kenny,

Thanks for asking these questions as they are beneficial for everyone to know.

Unfortunately we cannot accept TIFF files, only JPG or PNG format. PNGs should be 8-bit and non-interlaced.

The limit of the file size is 15mb, and one attachment per email is preferable.

I was super excited to see the pictures not yet realizing that my photo was in there somewhere. In my head I''m thinking "cool, all my favorite rings in one place! do you know how to "get info" on the picture? --right click on the file and "get info" it should tell you the dimensions on the image--

chances are you may have scaled the image down to fit into pricescope''s picture standards. try to go to the original file --the one right out of the camera-- and send that one.

It was a pleasant surprise to find out from Franky''s email this morning that a picture of my spinel ring has been nominated for the Pricescope Rock Walk album/calendar. Thank you Coati and Skippy for the nomination. There are so many gorgeous pictures on Pricescope, so I feel honored to have one of my pics nominated. It''s a wonderful idea to do this to benefit a charitable organization. Has the charity been decided?
