Will this system of preloved diamonds be available to consumers or just retailers/resellers?
It would be great if consumers can take advantage of this discounted diamonds network on this site - like myself!

Just to clarify: We created the new Sell Your Diamond system to give PS consumers another option to sell their diamonds to professional buyers. The system allows you to input your diamond's stats to get free preliminary quotes from vendors who may be interested in buying your stone. So, this is not a system of pre-loved diamonds available for sale. It's a tool to help you sell, if you need.

If you're interested in pre-loved jewelry, you can always visit our Preloved PS Jewels Forum to see pre-owned jewelry and diamonds that registered consumer members are advertising for sale.

I think this is a great idea.

One thought, I would recommend having a two radio buttons - get dealer quotes and/or post on Preloved PS Jewels Forum. That way you get your users familiar with the process of uploading diamond details (keeping the user interface the same) but they have an option to post in the preloved forum or professional buyers.

Does that make sense?

Two buttons might be interesting but would not work well for the timing involved in realy "making a sale". Every dealer will want to visually inspect the diamond and you just can't offer to sell it elsewhere when you are shipping your diamond away for a period of time. You can only do one thing correctly at a time no matter how well you multitask. Selling properly is enough stress and ought to be one step at a time so you can understand what is required and what is taking place.
