Prevent a bypass bezel pendant from flipping

Hello all,
I need some help. I set a carat diamond in this pendant. But this pendent insists on not lying the front side up. It insists on flipping. I selected the setting from Stuller, and am disappointed that their design does not consider basic physics rules. Einstein would be disappointed. What can be done?

how long is the chain?
I can't think of any solution that would definitely work. I'm wondering if having where the chain attaches to the bezel lowered would help. Just a thought. No experience with this.

I tried it with 17, 19, and 21 inch chains, both thin and think... Doesn't help. So disappointed. I wonder if soldering the chain to the pendant will work, but that defeats the purpose of the design.

I missed the fact that it was slide pendant. Yes, I think maybe fixing the chain to the bezel would help but it would have to be at the right spot I to avoid flipping.

By the way, you are showing up as in the Trade. If you are not, you should ask the mods to remove that designation.

Hi yes, I am in trade for loose stones. Bench work is new to me.

You mentioned that fixing the chain at the right spot of the pendant might work. Would you recommend where? For convenience, I'm reattaching picture of the pendant56193438.jpeg

well, attaching at the top might solve the issue but it won't give you the look you're going for. Maybe at each of the two top corners?? Just a guess though. I think it's difficult because you could try and it may not work but it seems that it should.

It looks to be more of a frame than a setting. The back is open so allows no weight or structure to help anchor the pendant. Take it back to the jeweler with your concerns - maybe they can take it in trade toward a more substantial setting.

Ok, not a very elegant solution, but what if you have the bench add a little bar, so the frame can't slide up/down on the chain? It would preserve the look from the front, and still allow the pendant to slide on the chain, but I think it might make it less flip-prone. Downside would be you might have to settle on one chain forever because the clasp might not fit through the new opening.

Do you need it to be a square, horizontal as it hangs, or could you have the chain through one corner only, so it hangs more like a diamond shape with a corner at the top?

Also, that pendant is lovely. But the amount of flipping as it is would drive me crazy.

I can't rotate the image by 45 degrees to show that, but something like this...
