Hi Everyone,

Here are the first CAD renderings of my cushion e-ring. I think I might change up the engraving at the bottom of the ring to look more like a scroll design than a leaf design. But overall, this is pretty much how I envisioned the ring to be. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Love the milgraining and the scrollwork in the gallery + the side diamonds and CLAW PRONGS!. Delicious!

WOWZA! That''s going to be beautiful!

It''s going to look great!

The surprise diamond is sticking out way too far IMO. Is that just a limitation of the cad, or is it actually how it will be built? Other than that, it's one fabulous ring.

Your ring is gorgeous, but I agree with purrfectpear that the surprise diamond may be sticking out just a tad too much.

Double claw prongs, halo, and a cushion covered with diamonds!!! Amazing!!! Lucky girl... When will it be done??

purrfectpear/Linda W/mrssavlo: I didn''t even notice how far it really stuck out because the original setting I was basing this design off had the surprise diamonds sticking out, but I don''t think it was this far. Below is a picture of the setting that inspired the design. I''m not sure if this is a limitation of the CAD but I will call and find out. You ladies definitely have good eyes!

CrookedRock: Thanks! It was estimated to take 3-4 weeks but seeing how today is the beginning of week 3 for me, it may take a little longer but hopefully not too long

My BF and I have been together for 7 years so I guess if I''ve waited this long, a few more weeks won''t hurt

In terms of potential wedding bands, I''m trying to figure out what types of bands would go well with this design. Since the e-ring has a basket, I don''t think any band will sit flush unless I get it custom made, but I don''t mind if it doesn''t sit flush since it''s a 3-sided pave ring and I''ve seen some really great sets with a gap between the e-ring and w-bands. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Cushionlove~ I''m going on 8 years so I hear ya girlie!! I guees we are in the same boat: waiting and waiting for our cushions!! BTW I can''t wait to see what Mark picked out this time... We got My cushion from him too! Isn''t he great!

For the wedding band... You do have a 3 sided pave ring and you would hate to damage it or a diamond band by wearing them together... are you opposed to wearing the 2 separate? I wasn''t at first, but I came to realize that I don''t want to damage either one. The other option I considered was buying a teeny tnt like 1mm band to use as a spacer. Tough though bc the basket of that ring is so big and detailed... hmmm.

CrookedRock - I am definitely not opposed to wearing the 2 separately as I think the e-ring will stand alone well on its own. I currently have a very thin band (probably around 1mm)that I wear on my right ring finger on a daily basis so I guess if I feel like wearing them all together, I could use the band as a spacer between the two. Ahhh...decisions decisions

I do agree about the surprise diamond though. If it sticks out too far that might also impact the way the wedding band sits. If you want to have a pave band maybe have the stones only on two sides (the top and one side) and have the third side just metal engraved with the same pattern as the e-ring so that you won't have stones rubbing against stones.

She''s a beauty!

Wow that is going to be stunning

Can''t wait to see pics when it''s done!
