Hi PS friends!

I might be able to get a H&A square radiant/quadex/POH style stone, but I am torn between a few potential options. I am thinking I'd like DK to make this piece in case that changes anyone's thoughts.

Option 1: One larger stone as a RHR solitaire style (something very similar to @rainydaze 's lovely bezel, except with florettes on the side (DK has done these kinds of floral accents before, which is where I got the side "shank" pics). The center stone would not be a branded quadex stone, but is one with the same aesthetic/cut. Probably in the .7-.9ct range.

Option 2: A 3-stone with smaller stones (probably .5-.65 center, and .3 sides). Similar florette details and likely also in a bezel style like the one above (photo I photo-shopped is a Van Craeynest design, but would be made in a style and with shape of stones they don't offer).

Option 3: 5-stone with all small stones (approx .3 for all) with alternating stones + florettes. Again used a VC pic for the photoshop base, but design that doesn't exist from them.

What do folks think would work best given the overall aesthetic? I'm worried that the shape/cut of the quadex won't be as noticeable in smaller sizes (like in option 3), but I've never seen small ones before so not sure.

Toooooooooooooo hard. Too hard to pick!
Uuhgh, you're twisting my arm but, the best of both worlds would be option 2.

I love the simplicity of the solitaire bezel with florets on the side!! But, I prefer rings that are simple but with a modern twist!!

If it were my ring, I'd have the bezel kite set!!! Now, that would be snazzy and modern as well...!!!

I like the solitaire option best. Since it’s such a beautiful and unique cut, the solitaire option really seems like it would showcase your diamond best in my opinion.

@anangel @OneKuhlChic do you think the soli will be too much like an engagement ring? I really want it to be a RHR and don't want it to look overly engagement-like.

Ooh, they're all beautiful, but I love #2! This is going to be gorgeous, lovedogs!

I like #2 and but also agree with @OneKuhlChic that it would be cool to have the main stone kite set if you go solitaire.

A solitaire will probably be always associated with engagement, however, I think the details on the shoulders read less engagement. I also think the beauty of the cut will also be more easily appreciated in the size you have for the solitaire.

Tough choice, Lovedogs. I like 1 and 2 better than 3. I do think 1 looks a bit like an engagement ring, but I wouldn't let that stop me wearing it on my right hand. I also like the idea of kite set (which looks less like an engagement ring), but that would spoil the pretty engraved floral sides. So, although I really like Option 1, I might be inclined to pick option 2.

I voted for Option 1 and can't wait to see the finished ring, whatever your setting decision.
