Thank you arjunajane, I was trying to attach another pic will try later, that was taken outside in the best light. My wedding ring - that is not the original diamond I had a new one put in 2 years ago. We bought the ring long before I knew anything at all about diamonds and the original stone had a big inclusion in it, so it had no sparkle at all. It is an 0.46ct Heart shaped ESi1. I sometimes think I would like to change to white gold for a change. I think the set together is too much gold and does not show off my diamond enough. I would like to change to a Tiffany style 6 prong and get a u prong eternity to go with it.
The specs on the solitaire:
G Si2 (totally eye clean)
1.153ct
59.9% depth, 57.5% table, 14.5% crown, 43.2% pavilion,
Factor Grade
Light Return Excellent
Fire Excellent
Scintillation Excellent
Spread or diameter for weight Excellent
Total Visual Performance 1.4 - Excellent within TIC range
Hi everyone, just wanted to say thank-you for your lovely compliments on my rings.
I am glad you all like my wedding band, I had it made just over 20 years ago now, (20th Wedding anniversary Nov last). Woobug I think it''s about 8 or 9mm wide from memory I would have to measure it to give it to give you the correct width. I used my daughter as a hand model for the two rings together as requested by some of you.
I have added a couple more rings - original er ring (0.51ct FSi1) and Tiffany Style Signature Cross (Ivs 0.2 all 18kt.
Snlee thanks for the compliments on my rings, but I love your set too! I''m getting quiet bored with my engagement ring and band (wouldn''t change the bevel heart, sentimental).
Do you have some photos of your er and band. I am thinking of changing mine from yellow gold to whiite and into a 6 prong setting something similar to yours.
People tell me the 6 prong will make your diamond appear larger (you gotta love that)!!!! I went for the 4 prong at that time because it gave the effect of a princess cut from different angles but I wanted the sparkle of an RB.
Thank you for posting pictures of your beautiful YG rings. I would not reset them - they are perfect as they are. We all hanker after what we do not have. If you are dead set on WG, buy a cheapie WG wedding band and see how you like it.
Beautiful collection - esp the heart bezel & crossover band.
