I think I've found THE setting: Jeff Cooper Leah

I'm planning on setting it with a slightly elongated antique cushion or antique oval (if I can find one!). Two-tone, either platinum with rose gold blossoms or vice versa- any thoughts on which would look better?

Which band would you pair with this setting?--or recommend a band not listed. I might be jumping the gun but I love this planning stage :)!

1) Beverley K knife edge (in rose gold):

2) Single Stone milgrain bezel:

3) Van Craeynest 912

4) Anna Sheffield Tiny Sheave band 2mm (comes in 3mm also):

5) BMJ Twig band, RG, satin finish, :

Hmm I'm having a hard time visualizing those bands with that setting (which is really cool by the way). I feel like you'd have to go for something much, much more plain/simple if you wanted it to match well.

My thought was exactly the same as sonnyjane...just a plain platinum half round band with a ring with that much detail. I don't think I'd like any of those bands with that ring. (But I do so adore the Van Craeynest ring!)

I'd do platinum as the main metal and do accents in rose gold rather than the other way around. I think it is a very creative, whimsical ring, but I would be a little afraid you might grow tired of it over time.

Oh wait...I did have one more thought:

I was thinking the same. These are all beautiful, but I would choose a simple, dainty eternity band. The e ring is very detailed and it may be too busy? Its just my opinion though! I would let your e ring shine. What a neat design

I totally agree. Do RG accents, not the other way around.

Thanks for the input and suggestions! The funny thing is those are the simpler bands of the ones
I am considering....I guess I have flamboyant taste :)!

DiamondSeeker, thanks for the link, love the two tone Tiffany band.

I agree with the others that a simple plain band will look the best. I think that you will have a much easier time choosing a band once you have the finished e-ring. Does Jeff Cooper offer a matching band? It's a gorgeous ring, can't wait to see actual photos!
