Hi
Just want to know for those of you have worked with both Steven and Leon, which do you prefer for pave and why?

I haven't worked with either one, but I chose Steven because he does not have a reputation of being unethical.

+1000

After all the examples of Leon Mege disasters in the 10 years I've been reading Pricescope I would never give Leon Mege any business.

Hi Abby! I've worked w/ both VC and SK. I went w/ SK for the AVC halo setting since VC no longer accepts any of the GOG August Vintage line. I do love my single cut bands from VC and highly recommend him also for any pave work!

Absolutely SK from the two choices you listed for the same reasons as previous posters. But I'd personally choose Victor Canera.

Thanks everyone!
Mom2boys- are you happy with your beautiful 5 carat ring?! Soooo nice!

That depends. What type of pave? And what design are you doing? Do you have inspiration pics? Based off that info I would give my recommendation. But both are excellent! I definitely think SK has better success with rings that are more antique looking...or just more fine detail rings. Where as I really like Leon's lines, proportions and overall flow.

Victor then Steven.

I've only worked with Victor and Leon and only in regard with rings with french cut sides. But based on this experience and references here on PS I would say:
1. Victor
2. Steven or ERD's handforged bench
