Hi everyone.

I shared my e-ring a couple months ago, here is the thread https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/glistens-asscher-halo-engagement-ring.153896/

I’m getting married in May and I am starting to panic because I don’t have a wedding band picked out yet.

Originally I wasn’t going to get a wedding band at all because my ring is 3 sided pave and I didn’t want to block any of the pretty little side diamonds. However, FI decided he only wants a simple tungsten wedding band and wants me to spend the extra money from our “ring budget” on a wedding band for myself! And I obviously am not going to argue with this!

My budget is around $1000-1200.
My main requests are that it be something I can wear alone, I do not want it fitted against my e-ring.
I know I will need a spacer so my side diamonds don’t scratch my band, and I am okay with this. I also am okay with non-matching sets, but I still want them to look good together.

I really love the look of the tiffany jazz band, only ¾ not eternity. Or the whiteflash bezel band http://www.whiteflash.com/wedding-bands/danielle-jazz-bezel-diamond-wedding-band-174.htm...

Would this style look okay with my e-ring though?

Pls help!!

Well - obviously what you love is the one that looks best

If I'm going to be completely honest though, I don't much like the idea of the jazz bands - they look very different in style, but there's not really anything that I can see to complement or tie the two together, and the difference in depth (the jazz bands are very low to the finger, with all that pave your Ering must be pretty thick/high) would drive me crazy, esp. with a third spacer ring of a different height still...

I would love to see your ring beside a simple, plain polished domed band, depth/height off finger matching your Ering (so probably a "heavy"/"comfort fit" band, they tend to be deeper). not terribly wide but enough to stand on its own beside your very eyecatching Ering - say 2.5mm?

Or if you must have something with diamonds what about a baguette channel band like this

I like both of those options! I love non matched sets that "go" together. Have you checked out the "eternity band" section on ID Jewelry? They have a LOT of options in your price range. :)

I personally like these paired with your (GORGEOUS) ering:

(They can do all diamonds instead of sapphires)

ETA I really like the one Yssie posted (the pic) but I'd prefer it with milgrain to match your band.

Thanks for the suggestions already.. you guys are quick!!

Yssie - I hadn't even thought of the difference between ring heights.. I think that would drive me crazy too!
I feel like if I got a plain band it would just get so scratched up! The back of the band on my e-ring is already really scratched and totally needs to be re plated and I've only had it for 8 months!

I'm generally not a huge fan of channel set bands, however that baguette channel band is gorgeous.

I also really love the alternating round and square bezel band, but in all diamonds. This would probably be the same problem as the jazz band though with differing heights.

PS I added new pics of my e-ring in the original SMTR thread I posted :)

I think something three-sided like your halo would look really nice as a stand alone piece while pulling the look together with your ER! Just throwing it out there

I could get a wedding band made to match my e-ring band! I would definitely need a spacer in between, otherwise it would be diamond on diamond. Do you think the spacer would make it look funny though?

Does anyone have a picture of a 3 sided pave e-ring and band with a spacer in between them?
