Please show me your Plain shank halo- mixed metals

My brother just came to me and said he wants to propose to his girlfriend. I know she wants a modern round diamond. She's shown me solitaire settings in rose and yellow gold. She also said she likes plain shanked halos. Does anyone have a platinum halo with a rose or yellow gold shank? Wondering if this could be the best of both worlds for her, but having a hard time picturing it. Please help!

I just added a platinum halo to my gold, plain shank solitaire. My center diamond is only a .41 ct, but the halo really adds some presence and sparkle. Here's a pic...not the best quality photo.

Yes, I do! I am most certainly biased, but I think it's a great look and makes the diamonds pop.

Mine has one side stone on each side but nothing on the shank.
