Please show me your Bella or Stephanie Halo ring

My husband and my daughter think I'm crazy, but this is what I did. I went to the LAD sight and copied pictures of both rings and then pasted them in word and shrunk them. Then I printed them out and cut the center where the diamond is out so that I could put my diamond in there. I think it was a brilliant idea. I was a bit surprised by my opinion after doing that. I found that while I loved the bella when I am looking at the pictures I loved the stephanie more with my diamond. I think it is the cushion shape of it instead of the round shape on the bella. That could have something to do with my buying a cushion shaped diamond as well. I printed out the bella in the white gold and their picture of the rose which I know isn't that accurate. I also think the diamond looked whiter with the pictures of it in the white metal. Now I guess I just need to see if I could afford to do it in platinum. Does anyone know what kind of white gold mix Erica uses?

Sounds like a smart move!! Great idea. I would reach out to Erica regarding the WG alloy she uses. She seems very accomodating.

I knew it would make more sense to people on pricescope. I did ask Erica how much more her price would be for platinum and it really wasn't bad so I will probably do that if I decide to go ahead with a re-set. I need to save up a little first and get the diamond insured.

Resonance.Of.Life and Redwood, did either of you ask to have the setting raised so that you could wear a band with it or is the height you have it at the normal height? It looks like with the Stephanie that Redwood has the bands fit closer to the ring. It could just be the pictures though.

Rena7 - Sorry I just saw this question. Yes I did have Erica raise the donut a bit so my bands would sit closer and not rub on the pave. I still have a tiny gap but it does not bother me at all. I think my donut is 1.15mm tall. Here are a couple pics with my Tiffany 2mm milgrain band and my 2.6mm french cut band. This is what I wear just about every day. I love this ring! Can't wait to see what you decide on!

Hope I'm not intruding, but I just wanted to chime in and say those specific halos also remind me of Caysie's one at the link below:

No your not intruding. That is a beautiful ring, it makes me think I could be converted back to yellow gold. Thanks for posting it.

Aw great, no problem! Yes I think she definitely could!

No worries, I appreciate the reply. It doesn't feel too high for you does it? I thought your ring with the bands looked just about right to me. I don't want my diamond to sit up too high, but I do love to wear stacking bands. Your rings are all gorgeous, thanks for posting the extra pictures. I really need to find an appraiser in my area because I can't move forward with anything until I get the diamond insured.

Thank you for your kind comments. No it is not too high and I think your stone would be beautiful in the setting. I love it and it is so different from anything I see in my area. I love bezel rings and wanted to protect my 100+ year old stone.

Your welcome. It definitely is not something you will see everywhere. I wasn't thinking of doing a halo since three people I work with have them, but they are no where near as lovely as either of these styles. I hadn't really thought of doing a bezel before but it does look beautiful with your diamond.

How are the melee diamonds that Erica uses? I was assuming they were good quality, but it never hurts to ask.
