Please provide guidance on 1-1.2CT

Hi everyone - can you please help me select one of the below diamonds. My budget is $7500. Thanks! I prefer to have a bigger "size" but understand that color is very important as. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.


1.15 I SI1 - eye clean

The 1.15 I si1 would be my choice. It is also the largest.

I would eliminate the 1.2 because it's not eye-clean. You have to decide if you want higher color(H) or larger size(I). I would
be fine with a well cut (which all these stones are) I.

You could call Whiteflash and have them do a comparison between the 2 "I" colored stones.

Which place has the setting that you like? That could also help make your decision. If BGD has the setting you like then you
might consider going with the smaller H.

Are you the guy or the girl? What do you think your GF would like (size over color OR color over size)? After being on PS for
6 years I can tell you most* girls pick size over color. People can't tell the difference in color (unless it's next to a stone that
is several colors different) but almost everyone can appreciate size. The hard part is that your size/color trade offs are not large.

Thank you for the analysis. I am the guy shopping for the girl. Now I am hesitating on the 1.15 SI1 because there are 4 twining twists. Are there any concerns for structural integrity because of it?

The 1.16 seem a lot cleaner with just the a cloud.

I would go with the 1.15ct in a heartbeat. Great patterning and truly a top-notch cut.

Reserve that 1.15ct ASAP, as it will be snatched up quickly.
