Hi All! As you can tell from my previous post, I am on the hunt for a wedding band now, and am leaning towards a really super thin band...I am contemplating either a plain 2 mm platinum, or a1.4 mm LM string theory. Somedays I love the gap between the wedding band, and my ER, and other days, I get a little frustrated. I have been trying different styles on, and I am having a hard time finding the perfect fit. I don't want anyting to take away from the center stone. Your pictures and thoughts would be helpful!

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm...something to think about. I may just alternate stacking bands, so would still be curious to see, as I know we have PS'ers with this look? Anybody care to share??

Do you have any images of what your are looking for? I went with an SES shared prong, 2mm setting. I just ordered it Saturday, so I am patiently (NOT) waiting! Here is an image of it. I also considered the Simon G PR108 style. This one just had more personality and sparkle in person. The Simon G (IMO) might as well have just been engraved bands ... the pave had little shine and was TOO micro.

My Leon Mege solitaire is 1.8mm and my JbEG micro pave OEC wedding band is also 1.8mm. Structurally, neither is NOT sound. I am a little rough on my jewelry and both have held up well. I know people say thin = unsound, but honestly, my solitaire is SOLID; I actually worry more about my OMC antique diamond being damaged (due to exposed girdles) than I am about the setting. I also have a 1.5mm 'spacer' platinum band and wear it everyday. It's fine. HTH.

For reference, my band from Steven Kirsh is 1.5 mm and Leon Mege is 1.3 mm.
