Hi Everyone!

I will appreciate any advice, help or input you may have. My bf and I are shopping for e-ring.
I am planning to buy an Aset scope to look at radiants/fancy cuts after reading and learning from previous posts and following links, THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Please post any Aset or ideal scope images you have for radiants. I haveI seen the ones for rounds and princesses based on postings, but none for radiants unless i am looking in the wrong places.

Should I purchase ideal scope to view radiants?
Please help, I am new at this but know that I can't look at numbers on paper to determine if a diamond is beautifully cut or not.

Thanks,
Maddie

HI Maddie,
I've never felt that ASET was all that useful in evaluating a true crushed ice radiant.
The video referred to shows a different type of radiant- where the ASET might be useful- but to me, stones with "patterned" center sections don't look like what I expect when I look for a radiant.
There is a branded Radiant Cut Diamond, cut by the company that invented the cut.
The branded stones have a total bucket of crushed ice - which is very different than a stone cut to look like a H&A round.

Diamond seeker: Thanks, will definitely look at good old gold tonight..

Rockdiamond: I have called a b&m that carried the branded radiant cut diamond, but they didn't have color or clarity I am looking for.
What is the difference in crushed ice versus stone cut to look like h&a round for brilliance, light, sparkle effect?
