What's the grading report number for this one, aapple0112?
From what I am seeing, either the CA, the PA, or both are slightly too steep.

Hello Everyone!

So, the 3.3ct ring arrived… but I am not sure about it. It is GIA certified and we checked the laser inscription with a loupe and it matches the certificate. It is an E color, VVS1, triple X, no florescence. The Halloway score was 1.1 and the specs looked good.

I don’t know anything about diamonds when they get to this larger size, so I am looking for help. Does it look dark, grey, blue even to any of you? Or is this totally normal in larger stones? In normal indoor setting or darker lighting it looks very white. But at other times I see a lot of what I can only describe as dark or grey in it.

Some of the photos show my 1.8ct G color diamond as well as my Tiffany embrace wedding band. Those seem to photograph relatively white in all the different lighting.

Thoughts?

I have 7 days to make the return if this isn’t a good keeper.

Looks like normal darkening of a well cut and proportioned diamond in the sunlight to me, but you're the wearer and are the one seeing it in all of your daily environments.

Have you looked at it table-down, pavilion-up against a white background in indirect lighting to assess the body color/hue?

No, haven’t tried that yet. I was asked in another thread to take some photos of the side in natural lighting against a white piece of paper. So, these were taken outside again, in the sun. Not sure if that’s helpful?
