please help with this cushion cut

What do you guys think of this cushion cut?

I'm seeing a lot of green and not much red =/

Also, the black spot in the middle, is that okay?

1) put a deposit down for this one. The aset image looks good, Mark from ERD said he'd pick this one

what about symmetry, polish and culet?

1 carat has
- medium culet
- very good polish
- good symmetry

1.1 carat has
- no culet
- excellent polish
- very good symmetry

do these play an important role in how the diamond looks? I read that a large or extremely large culet is not good..but what about medium?

Medium, even large are fine in terms of performance. It's really a matter of taste. It looks like a hole in your diamond when you look down at it. Some people, like me, like the look. Other's don't.

What ring did she like that you are trying to get close to? Was it a modern cushion or an antique one?

She doesn't have a preference as to modern or antique as long as it has good lights reflecting back. She does want it to look like the novo from Tiffany though. I think because we can't see both diamonds in real life, it's best base it on the aset image.
