I found what I think is the ideal marquise diamond for myself; the only thing I don't really like about it is the girdle: slightly thick to thick, faceted. Should I stay away from this diamond because of the thickness of the girdle? Here are the other specs:
1.38 carat
Color: D
Cut: VG
Clarity: IF
Depth: 61.7%
Table: 60%
Symmetry: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Cutlet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements 11.16 x 5.85 x 3.61 mm
Length to width 1.91
Also, approximately what sizes (carat and measurements) should the pear sidestones be to make the ring look proportional?
Thanks for your help everyone!

Color??

Numbers look good to me... Girdle is fine... Can you get some additional cut informations?

I agree with G. The girdle is fine.

As for side stones, thirds would be nice, or quarters if you're trying to stay "within budget". Three eighths if you want a "heavier" look.

What about fancy yellow sides? These are too cool!
