What is the advantage of a square modified brilliant cut, vs. a regular princess cut...

Please someone tell me, or does any one know what i am talking about.

A square modified brilliant is a princess cut. GIA does not use the terminology "princess cut" on the grading report. So they are one in the same.

Not all square modified stones are princess cuts...there are new squares that are H&A....Square Cushion H&A, Regent, Dream and Jubilee to name three of them. These H&A square have significantly more brilliance and fire than a princess cut.
