Please Help, Need ASET Feedback on 3.08 Cushion

Hello All,

Attached are the ASET and GIA certificate for a diamond that I am considering. I have seen the diamond in person and it is AMAZING but I wanted to get your feedback on the ASET and/or any other concerns you may have. Thank you all in advance.

This is the first time I am adding attachments so I hope I did it correctly!

I was thinking of setting it in a classic Leon Mege solitaire with sharp double claw prongs. I will be sure to post photos of the final product!

It looks like you've picked a winner. I think that is a good ASET for a cushion, I've definitely seen much worse.

Hi Everyone. Attached is a photo of the diamond itself. I received a notice on my iphone that **edited by moderator to remove name of banned poster** had posted a message but now it is not here....weird. She did bring up that there is too much black and green I initially thought that as well). What do you guys think? I have to say though, the diamond is actually a beauty in person and I guess I am just double guessing my eyes.

Also, someone had suggested that I go to GOG and while the AVC's are amazing, they are just too expensive. I also went to Perry and I almost bought a 3.01 H but then Chris from ERD showed me this 3.08 J. He did say that it was a great ASET but I am skeptical due to the large quantity of green and blue.

Hello All.

Okay both Gypsy's and Pricescopesham's posts have been deleted but luckily the messages were sent to my Iphone before they disappeared on the boards so I was able to read their suggestions.

Pricescopesham: I really appreciate your honest and critical feedback and I want to thank you for having the guts to voice the unpopualr view.

Gypsy: I have been reading your posts on pricescope for a long time and I feel honored that you would take the time to help me out!

With that being said, I wanted to let you know that we actually bought the stone and I met with Leon to design the setting. I am really excited and cannot believe that this is actually happening. I have been dreaming about antique style cushions ever since you all introduced me to them on this site. Although I was not thrilled with the ASET, I felt as though it sparkled like crazy in person and I wanted to trust my eyes and not to get too wrapped up in the science.

I really appreciate all of your help!!!!

Beautiful stone! Love the E/W setting on cushions. But that is a personal taste. Here is an antique set E/W O/P color.
