I have searched and searched and even posted a couple of options before. I have some GCAL stones picked out but wanted your expert opinion on these first as they are less expensive. I’m willing to pay more if it is absolutely worth it, but the more I think about it, the less I am willing to pay for a lab. I want a nice diamond of course though so if none of these are winners, I will move on. I prefer Ritani over Adiamor (I have stones carted at both) simply because they are less expensive and if I return a stone to Ritani I don’t pay for shipping or insurance if I am reading the policy correctly. I am happy with the cuts and clarity on all of these but my main concern about each stone is the color/tinge. I have such a hard time discerning if a stone leans toward blue/grey/brown because of the backgrounds. Please pick these apart and let me know what you like or don’t like. I literally have 15 diamonds in my cart but will start with these as they are less expensive and go from there.

This one is HPHT https://www.ritani.com/products/2-3...-vs1-clarity-igi-lg536268455-sku-d-900k6gk1if

Also HPHT https://www.ritani.com/products/2-2...-vs1-clarity-igi-lg532249771-sku-d-900k6e5wob

CVD https://www.ritani.com/products/2-2...-vs1-clarity-igi-lg532264647-sku-d-2eiqfd266f

CVD https://www.ritani.com/products/2-2...vvs2-clarity-igi-lg530217741-sku-d-93k642rfgt

I like the first one (2.36 E VS1) the best out of them all.

Which GCAL options do you have it narrowed down to?

Of course I like the last one the best and it is the most expensive. I see the inclusions on the other two and I know I probably wouldn’t see them in real life, but I get hung up on the ones I see in the video.

I agree with you that its very hard for me to tell if the HPHT diamonds from ritani have a blue hue because of the dark gray background. Its much easier to see the color on the CVD ones with a lighter background. I thought I read ritani only allows 2 returns per year so something to look into.

Yes, that’s what I read too.

You could always roll the dice and pick one from ritani and see how it looks in person. If it turns out great with no hues you got yourself a great deal. If it doesn’t you can return it and get one of the gcal 8x ones. I LOVE the last gcal 8x you posted with a small table and taller crown.

That’s a good plan but as soon as I do, the other stone will be snatched up. I might still go that route.
Here is another GCAL contender I found.

Here's a better video of the 2.36

Here are a couple that look a bit better, to my eyes.

This is a stunning choice.

These are nice! I had not looked at any D colored stones just because I don’t want anything silvery white. Is that a misconception that D would be?

Depends on a few factors, including cut proportions/angles and viewing conditions.
The type of lighting that the diamond is viewed in will play a big role.
In a nutshell...
Direct/spotlighting: fire (and silvery appearance).
Indirect/diffused/shaded: brilliance (white light return).
