Please help me find the best cut diamond 2ct - 2.4ct RB

Hi Everyone, over the past month I have been checking out the forum and have tried to educated myself, but you guys are all in a league of your own and I could really do with your help please. I have narrowed it down to an RB - F/G - VS2, size 2ct - 2.4ct.

Many people will say you cant go wrong with any of these vendors, but I am after the best cut stone that is available in stock and of course something that is going to sparkle.

What's your budget?

Those are some really nice choices. You've got a big spread in the price though, so not sure what you're wanting to spend.

Also, GOG has some nice stones as well.

I am happy to spend up to 45k but really want the best stone. Is the Brian stone priced correctly or is this a mistake?

4 beautiful top cut stones... wouldn't mind owning any one of these. love the G VS2 combo.

All dynamite choices. At $50+k, the BGD diamond is more expensive but you're getting a noticeable size difference as well (2.3 vs 2 carat; spread difference of 8.5 mm vs. 8.2 mm so it'll face-up larger as well). It depends if that size difference is worth the large price increase as well - that's something only you or your sig other can answer. If it doesn't matter that much, you won't go wrong with the other choices either. All wonderfully cut from well regarded vendors.

Beautiful stone selection!! Do you have a setting in mind? That might make in difference in what vendor you choose.

Thanks for your responses. There seems to be two highly rated designers, Victor and a Leon. Either one of them will make the ring, but before I contact them would like to have the diamond stone secured first.

I cannot justify the Brian stone, so it is down to the last three.

I agree with you on the Brian stone since it is so much more than the other stones. I would contact WF and have them do a video of both stones and also contact HPD for a video. One stone might "speak" to you over the others.

Out of those, I might go for the HPD. Maybe a bit rarer, and a really great policy for upgrades down the road.

But, as stated, cannot go wrong. If WF would make you a video, that might help you a bit.

All three of the stones you had selected are great picks. All of them have top notch cuts, and great color/clarity combo.

The 2.116ct stone would be my pick:

That stone provides the best balance of exceptional quality + price. It is also the largest of the three stones, which doesn't hurt, either!

I agree with Rocky. The 2.11 would be my choice as well, though all are gonna be gorgeous. It seems to be a great balance.
