The H scored better on the HCA although the G is a triple X...both beautiful in person. Any advice? PLEASE!!

Anyone? Did I post this in the right place? TIA!!

Do you have pictures of them?

I personally would go with a better color grade if the SI2 inclusions aren't obvious.

Is the 2nd stone a very good cut? I would feel better having an excellent/ideal cut vs a very good cut. The first stone has larger dimensions than the second one.

The first one has a steep pavilion and shallow crown angle. I'd double, double check that it's eye-clean as it's an SI2. I'd double check that the SI1 is also eye-clean.

With such a large stone, the inclusions are more easily visible.

The first one is an excellent cut via GIA report and the second one is Very Good cut via GIA report.
The second one scored much better on the HCA. I don't know what to make of the contradiction?
How will a steep pavillion and shallow crown affect the stones performance?
THANK YOU!!

The second one has some problem that caused it to be graded very good instead of excellent. Perhaps the girdle is very thin or thick? You need to give us the link to the GIA report on that one.

I wouldn't do SI2 in a 3 ct stone, and many SI1's won't be eyeclean at that size, either. Have you looked at both in person? If not, do you have magnified images of the stones and either and idealscope or ASET image?

The second one has a extremely thin to slightly thick girdle.
The inclusions on the SI2 are twinning wisps they are white and very hard to see with the naked eye..they do not seem to affect the stones brilliance.
I am confused as to the implications of a steep pavilion angle and shallow crown angle have on the stone? It is a triple excellent graded.
TIA!!
Yes I have seen them both in person. Both beautiful.
