Hi everyone
Long time lurker here. I've tried (via extensive lurking ) to soak up as much diamond knowledge as possible but have now found myself at a brickwall in deciding between two stones as I cant see them in person. These RBs differ a little in carat weight and would really appreciate your comments / thoughts as to which one is a better stone.
From my (minimal) understanding, I think the 1.63 is a far better stone in terms of light performance. Also I know that it is eye clean and faces up bright white (the vendor has confirmed this).
I’m waiting on confirmation that the 1.80ct is eye clean – the vendor has said they’re “pretty sure” but will get back to me when they know for sure.
Which one do you think is a better buy, given that ideally I’d love to go as large as possible? If the 1.80 isnt very pretty and wont have anywhere near as good light performance then it makes sense to go for the smaller stone, methinks.
Thanking you wonderful people in advance,
D
