Please help advice on thin or thick wedding band with ering

Hello

I've just joined the forum and loving this community. I was hoping I could get some advice on my wedding bands.

I originally had 2 pave scoop setting thin and delicate bands with my 1.3 solitaire e ring and I love them but in 6 months I lost 3 diamonds. Since I don't want this to keep happening I am trading in my bands and picking 2 new ones.

I would like my e ring solitaire to still stand out and look as big as possible and really pop.

I went to the jewellers and viewed slightly bigger diamond bands in a more stable setting and do like the look but for only abit more money I can get bigger diamonds in the bands and get more bling but I do not want to take away from my e ring.

I'm unsure what to do I feel like if there was a bigger different in price I would happily get the two thinner bands again but as it's not much more for larger diamonds I feel like I'm being fogged by the bling and could get more bang for my buck with the bigger diamond bands.

Any advice what would you guys do?

Thanks so much in advance

In the second picture the ring on the right is the smaller diamond band I do like this from side angle it makes my centre stone look bigger

I don't quite understand the two band look but if you're committed to that the smaller diamonds look better with your e-ring.

If you do the traditional thing of just one band and e-ring then the larger diamonds are the way to go.

Thinner but you are going to need a spacer, and the stones are set really high in those bands.

+1. The thinner/smaller melees don't compete with your solitaire and I agree that you might need a spacer as well.

I like the lower set band - for sure. Is that the thinner band? I'm reading more closely, and i see that it IS - that's my choice.

I like the thinner. I also had two bands.. and I only wear one. I felt like both bands over shadowed my e-ring and wanted that diamond to be the star.

I agree that the 2 band look takes away from the center stone, but I would have to pick the thinner rings.

thinner

I'd look into a fishtail micropave band, actually. Esp if you want two bands. They're lower set, and slim and will look great. Just my suggestion.

Thinner. The u-prongs are to busy IMHO.

I like the thinner band, and just one. IMHO if you put one band on each side of the ering, the center stone gets "lost" in the blinginess.

I like the thinner band and would just wear one.

Another vote for the thinner band. :wavey:

I like the thicker band (just one!) and think you need a very thin spacer.

I like the thinner bands; they sit lower and you can see your ring's pretty profile. I think your center stone gets a bit lost with the larger ones.
