So after a lot of reading on here, I went into a few jewelers today with more specific questions and a bit of a clue about diamonds. Long story short, only one has been helpful and I am almost set on going with him unless I hear about another reputable jeweler around me. He was the only one willing to print me out the GIA reports on each of these diamonds. Enough with my rambling, I was hoping some of you could give me your input and throw out some suggestions and preferences.

Diamond 1 $4100:
.88 ct
D, SI1, polish/sym-very good/very good
8.91x5.85x2.85
girdle - thin to slightly thick
table: 62.8%
depth: 48.7%
crown: 13.2%
L/W ratio: 1.52:1
fluorescence: none

Diamond 2 $4100:
.74 ct
G, VS1, polish/sym-good/good
7.51x5.19x3.20
girdle - thin to thick
table: 56%
depth: 61.7%
crown: not listed
L/W ratio: 1.44:1
fluorescence: none

Diamond 3 $3600:
.70 ct
D, VS2, polish/sym-very good/good
7.48x5.39x2.83
girdle - slightly thick to very thick
table: 57%
depth: 52.5%
crown: not listed
L/W ratio: 1.38:1
fluorescence: faint

I know I am missing crown height for 2 of the diamonds. He is going to get me a number for those next week, for now please assume the crown is acceptable. I know there are some issues with some of these, especially regarding
depth. What I do not know, however, is how much of a factor this will play in my visual selection. As of right now, the only other options are closer to the 1/2 ct range and I''d rather stay closer to .75 if possible. I also have pictures of these printed out but I can not scan them. We looked at them together, and they all look good from the picture (I will want to see them in person, of course), bow-tie not an issue.

I know there are many factors when deciding on a stone but I am hoping I could get some recommendations based purely off of these numbers.

Sorry to sound like such a newb and I appreciate all the help!

What shape are the stones? Are they emerald cuts? I don't think I've ever seen such shallow depth.

Sorry, I forgot to mention the shape. Guess that is kind of important too,. They are all pears.

With pears we will need at least an ASET image to judge cut performance.

Unfortunately I am unable to obtain an ASET image right now. Would my jeweler be able to easily obtain one? The only thing I know about ASET images is that they show how the diamond obtains light (and that is just from searching after I read the last post).

Is there any way one could guesstimate on the quality of these stones without having any additional information? Basically what I wanted to do is get a quick idea on what would be preferred (if any). I will probably ask if he could get these 3 in for a look but I was just curious what others thought before I do that.

I apologize for the lack of additional information and understand if it would be too difficult to form much of an opinion purely based on the specs I provided.

No way to evaluate pears by numbers. Here is one at Good Old Good for much less just to compare.

0.79ct I SI2

Ditto and some pics as well.

The link Stonecold gave you from Gem Appraisers is a good guideline. But get us some good pics if possible....

Kaleigh is right, photographs which are clear and detailed are essential in order to judge a pear. Also you will need to take note of the bow tie effect which the majority of pears show, a bow tie can be more prominent in some pears than others.
