Ok guys sorry to start another thread but I feel like the other one is convoluted and getting lost. Here is what I received from Excel Diamonds . Tell me what you think.

General Specifications
Price:$2,737.00
Carat : 0.93
Clarity : SI2
Color : E
Ships Within : Ships Immediately

GIA Specifications
Certificate Number : 14266324
Measurements : 5.6 x 5.24 x 3.65
Depth : 69.7
Table : 64%
Polish : Very good
Symmetry : Good
Fluorescence : None

We have worked up this diamond for you and you should have the data by now.

This stone faces up totally eye-clean and displays a very attractive "crushed-ice" look which is scintillating and sparkly.

Let us know if you have any questions which we will be most happy to answer.

Best Regards,
Barry

Ok, so what do you guys think? Honest opinions please! Thank you all!

The Ideal-scope indicates large dead areas

Sigh... It took me a while to find this radiant with these depth/table settings. I thought it would turn out better on the IS. I am not sure what to do now. I guess I will have to discuss things with Excel tomorrow.

some leakage is fine in radiants for contrast but I gota agree with Garry too much all together.
The same amount spread out would be ok.

The 10x is showing large dark zones too in the same spot as the IS.

I feel sick now. I worked so hard to find "good specs". I don''t know what to do now.

Specs are a waste of time

If you want crushed glass then look as Storm says for spread out pink in the IS, and you need to see real normal photo''s too.

or
Work with someone you can trust, not someone who just wants to make a sale.

What I am saying is that now I really don''t know how to find a diamond online in my price range. I thought I could research it and find the right specs. Before this, I tried a few local stores but I did not find anything that I was particularly fond about. I would really like to propose to my gf on her birthday on the 15th but at the same time I don''t want to rush into buying a diamond. I really thought that I could find something awesome in the week I searched. Anyone have a time machine? Any suggestions for me? I am looking for a radiant diamond $2600-3000, preferably >0.80 carat and more square in appearance. I have a great setting in mind, I just need the stone!

I feel sick. I''m going to bed. Help please.

afraid I can not recomend individual vendors as it is against the rules for trade folk, but search this forum for others experiances and trust a trusted vendor, or wade thru the sites that have ideal-scope and ASET images inventory

Mark at ERD would likely be the fastest since he can walk out and see the stones where other vendors would have too deal with shipping.
Give him a call
