Please Compare GIA with Actual Pics of Diamond

Hi, I am purchasing a diamond for an engagement ring from an online retailer. I am new to this and not sure if the pics match the GIA diagram. My concerns are the two lines moving outward, near edge, at 10:30 position and the wavey/squigly line, pointing downward, at about 4:3o position. These do not seem like anything in the GIA diagram.

The squiggly is probably a piece of fuzz. Could the other one at 10:30 be the feather that shows up on the GIA? If not, probably
another piece of dust/fuzz.

This stone is only cut so-so. I would worry more about that.

Did you have an idealscope image of it you can post? Have you run it through the HCA tool to see how it does?

With an GIA SI2 grade, I would think many inclusions/faults would show in the pics?

The overall score is good considering the price of the diamond. The scintillation score is a little disappointing if I am understanding it correctly, that is the sparkle rating, since the GIA cut score is excellent. The diamond does have a GIA excellent polish and symmetry rating and the HCA does not take that into account. Could these two things increase the scintillation score of "good"? I am concerned something more is wrong with it then what the pics are telling me. Med Blue flour could be it, but I was told the diamond is a "beautiful white face-up".

We usually only recommend diamonds that score 2 or less are worth further investigation. Yours is over 2 so I would like
to see and idealscope image of it. It does look like it has some leakage through the center but if you know this and are
looking for size over other benefits then you may be ok with that.

If they told you it's eye-clean and that the flourescents doesnt have any adverse affect on the stone then you should be ok.
Can you view the stone before it is set?

That picture you have labeled idealscope is not an idealscope image. It's just an up close image of the stone. An idealscope image
will show the stone in mostly red/white/pink.

Yes, can view stone prior to setting and they have a 30 day return policy.

They said the flour is not noticeable, its eye-clean, and their is no hole/leakage in center of diamond. They said the pics make it appear that way. How large of an area do youthink the leakage is? Is it the entire lighter area in the center of diamond? If their was leakage in the center, would the GIA give this an excellent cut? Would they note the leakage?

I read about HCA. Seems like a tool for more info, although not a tool to make a final decision on.

With all things considered such as the inclusions area feathers, its an eye clean 1ct H IS2 with excellent cut at a price that is very good compared to others, and keeps me within the desirable budget, this is my top pick.
