Hi all,

First off, juts want to thank the community for their wealth of knowledge on diamonds. At first, i thought it was just a matter of the 4 C's.

Im ready to embark on my next stage in life and after an extensive search, i think i narrowed it to this one rock from James Allen. They have replied back with an idealscope. From my what i can see, there's slight leakage around the table. Is this normal?

There is no extra leakage under the table. Looks fine.

Looks great. Though you don't need VS1 clarity.

Appreciate the prompt feedback.

Is there anything i should ask them before i make the transfer?

No, you are good to go.

Do i need to consider anything about the setting or is it purely just aesthetics? Just want a simple solitaire with 6 prongs in 18k WG

White gold does turn yellowish and it sort of a gray metal to begin with. Platinum is white naturally and doesn't need to be redipped like white gold.
I'd do platinum or yellow 18k gold shank with platinum head if it were me. :loopy:

Get the platinum handmade 6 prong. The cheap 6 prong looks clunky and not fitting for the diamond, in my opinion.

If you plan to upgrade the setting anytime soon (like in a year) then get the cheap one.
