Hi

I am looking at these two diamonds with similar prices.

a. http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-912945.htm#
( 0.505 ct F SI1 A Cut Above H&A )

b. http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/4276/
( 0.47ct F VS2 Round H&A )

Please do give your feedbacks and comments!

Thanks

Both are gorgeous diamonds, two excellent vendors and not much between them pricewise. I don''t think you can go wrong with either. Do you have a preference out of the two?
LOL!

They are both gorgeous. How to choose? I guess one thing to think about is whether or not you want to upgrade your diamond in the future (both companies allow this but you may find one easier to deal with because of location or some other factor), or if one company has a setting you prefer. Those things are not important in the grand scheme, but when comparing two reputable dealers with almost identical product, those things *could* be the deciding factor, IMO.

Thanks!

But do you think the .47ct be too small if set with a 6 prong?

And do GOG and WF send the AGS report + Sarin report + their own report to customers?

What should I expect to receive in the box?

Thanks again

Personally I don't think the .47 would be too small to look good with 6 prongs, as I have a .50 ct set that way which is fine. I think with WF you will receive the AGS report, and an appraisal, I don't know if you get the Sarin - you would have to ask them. I haven't purchased from GOG personally, so I don't know what they include, but you will get the grading report at the very least.

Here is the info you need to tell you what you will receive with your purchase from WF.

Hi ppl, please give your opinions:

(please see first post)
Given the similarity in price, which one would you choose and why?
How big difference is it between VS2 and SI1?

I have added this to my selection lists:

c. diamond_c
( 0.468 ct F SI1 A Cut Above H&A)

d.
diamond_d
( 0.505 ct F SI1 A Cut Above H&A)

e. diamond_e
( 0.502 ct G VS2 A Cut Above H&A)

f.
diamond_f
( 0.502 ct E SI1 A Cut Above H&A)

Please help me out here, thanks!!

With GOG, you get pretty much everything that is posted on your diamond''s webpage. I got the AGS report, Sarin, Heart & Arrows, GEMEX, ISEE2, Megascope, GIA Facet Report etc. I was surprised (but pleased) at the amount of documentation I received!

^^^ thanks!

How about WF?
and about the above-stated diamonds themselves, which one is better?

Why do the prices at WF higher than what are stated on pricescope site?

Does the price on WF site inclusive of shipping+insurance?

You get the lab report and an insurance valuation and your sales receipt. Both vendors also send you a little hearts and arrows viewer and some other goodies!

My personal preference is for VS2 clarity, so I would choose the WF G VS2 or the GOG F VS2. The G VS2 is a tiny bit bigger, so I would probably choose it. Both vendors are excellent, though!

Yes, the shipping is free. The PS price reflects the wire and Pricescope member discounts. It is around 5% off for the ACA stones and around half that for their expert selection stones. Good Old Gold has their discounted wire price listed on the diamond webpages.

^^ Thanks again

I am referring to overseas shipping, sorry!

Does the price stated at WF site is final (no more hidden cost)?

I would go for one of the VS2 stones as well and I think both of them would be great!

Thanks marcyc!

Anybody knows about the overseas shipping charges + insurance fee from WF and GOG?
are those prices on their website final?

DD, Ellen can''t copy and paste with her computer, so if I see links that aren''t clickable, I make them clickable so she can see them!

It looks like a beautiful diamond, I don''t think you can improve on the cut, it should be gorgeous!
