Taking Laurel25''s suggestion and took the tourmaline outside for a "photo shoot". Thought I would have a CORONARY a couple of times when I dropped it in the ground!

I wonder how the first picture was so much larger than the others? I kind of like the bigger pictures.
 
I like the bigger pic more, too. You can see more detail that way. Is that a Portuguese round?

Lovely pictures! I did the same thing with my sapphire this weekend too! We had a gorgeous day and I got tons of great pictures!!!
 
Love the color of this stone. That flower shot is so pretty! All these peachy-pinky-brown gems are driving me wild! My favorite hue!
