Platinum next to Gold

So just how bad of an idea is it to wear a gold wedding ring next to a platinum engagment ring? There's no engraving or diamonds on the sides of the e-ring.

ETA: How about palladium??

I ended up buying a palladium band to wear with my white gold e-ring, don''t think it will be a problem (and I haven''t seen real proof otherwise!).

it is ok if you dont mind replacing rings after 10 years

Paladium will not be much better - it will chew thru the gold too, unless it is a palladium based white gold alloy
