I guess apatite can be set and you were smart to put it in a pendant due to how soft it is. It's done so well and it's such a delicate setting style. Wow, you not only have beautiful gems, a new beautiful pendant, but beautiful hair too. I'm jealous.

Thanks cookie! You know, it really does stay in place - I'm very surprised! The first time I wore it, I was expecting to be fiddling and adjusting every time I looked in the mirror, but honestly, I did very little of that, and it hasn't flipped either - my other pet peeve. I'd definitely do this type of setting again with other large stones.

Hi AustenNut - I'll work on a neckshot for you, just give me a day or two.

By the way, I've found that neckshots are fairly easily done in the car - with all the windows, the light is usually decent, and you can use the mirror on the back of the visor to see the camera LCD screen. For some reason, none of the mirrors in my house are anywhere near the windows, so the inside neckshots always turn out !
