Hi all,

So I bought this stone two years ago and it was so complicated - the shape, the cut etc I didn’t know what to do with it. Had no idea of what kind of ring to make it into. On top of that I had just moved to Singapore and didn’t know who to go for affordable custom work and would take my stones. Luckily I found a wonderful little shop in Far East plaza (Jade Goh) and I was simply blown away. Even then the design I wanted was... complicated. Didn’t know it would be possible. I wanted a lot of miligrain- like on every edge.

After many meetings it’s ready and I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am! So I’ll stop talking now and let my pictures do the work!

wow that is amazing in every aspect! So glad you found a place that was able to reproduce your vision. It is beautiful! Thanks for the photos!

Wow! What a beautiful (and huge!) tourmaline! So glad you found somewhere to have your design made. Totally worth the effort I bet! :))

I just ran into her little shop. It was an amazing amount of luck. Thank you for your kind comments

Congrats very pretty stone. Trilliants are always difficult to set :)

Yes this shape is a real head scratcher. I tried and tried but couldn’t figure out the right design for the longest time.

Oh and Jade took some pics too for her portfolio. Really nice ones!

Wow! Gorgeous ring! All of your planning paid off as it looks great from every angle. Really like the color of gold you choose for the stone.

That is so beautiful! :kiss2:

Good job on finding Jade Goh! Awesome statement ring.

What a massive ring pop! The color suits you too.

Thank you Guys! It was my first custom jewellery project too. My engagement ring was as well but that was a disaster ! So I had like the lowest level of confidence that this would turn out as per my exact expectations. Got supremely lucky I found Jade!

That is gorgeous! I have a couple of trilliant stones to have set. Your photos are truly an inspiration!!

Absolutely lovely! May I know where Jade's shop is located at Far East Plaza? I go there all the time for my manicures and would like to check it out. Thanks.

I sincerely love the color!!!!! and I have never seen such a unique setting, it does the stone justice.. congratulations, look gorgeous on you .. I have pink envy!

Oh my goodness that is lovely. The color is gorgeous and the setting so unique.

Oh wow I hope I could help! Trillions really are tricky. I have another which I put in a halo but honestly there’s so much more you can do. The trick is to get prongs that show off the shape

She’s fantastic. Do give her my reference, I’ve told her all about pricescope and our little community ! She will take care of you.

Yes it’s 11mm and honestly I wish I found a smaller one but that colour I just couldn’t forget once I saw it!

@Gemobsessed those are beautiful garnets, and it seems, we have similar tastes. I’m eyeing the same setting from I&R, and I’m also planning to set a 6 mm mahenge garnet in this setting! Funny! I’ve just opened a thread about it!

Very pretty and bright! :appl:

I really love those colors @Gemobsessed! Stacking rings would be lovely! But I also really like that semi mount @MissyBeaucoup posted...hmmm decisions!...I have my garnet to set at some point too!

Haha maybe I’ll run into you! Planning the next project with her now with a blue green tourmaline and will be visiting her the weekend after cny

Gemobsessed my apologies -my comment "very pretty and bright" was meant for your pictures of the two garnets you posted and not for this ring. My comment for this ring is "Stunning, gorgeous, OMG I love this ring so much I can't even stand it!"

This setting is PERFECT for your beautiful stone.

You guys are too kind
Thank you so much !

I'm one of those people that avoids trilliants because they are so hard to set. Your new ring makes it look easy. That's a beautiful setting for a beautiful gem (and the size...wowza!). :cool2:
