#JOTW Pink Sapphire Surprise

Hubby finally managed it, a total surprise. He even had it wrapped in an iPhone box which I thought was a new car charger that I need. But instead of a car charger I find this gorgeous pink baby. Happy Mother's Day/early birthday to me!!!!!

It's a 7mm round pink sapphire, about 1.50cts [I don't have the paperwork yet] in a very unique halo setting which I love. Totally different from the usual halo settings. My photos just do NOT do this ring justice. I think there's about a carat of diamonds which would be F VS1s.

Thanks Acinom! The stone is a most gorgeous, vibrant pink that I just cannot get to show in pictures. My camera totally washes it out. My iPhone gets closer to the true color but it is still not quite there. I'm in love with the halo. It's so totally different from anything I have seen. As much as I am a halo junky especially for colored stones, I have to admit I was getting sort of bored with them. This brings my halo love back.

Oh I love it!!! I am a halo lover too catmom and this one is so gorgeous and special! and I adore the color of the sapphire, I would love to own a stone this color someday - boy, your dh is definitely a keeper!
