Pink Sapphire Pendant

My husband was a real sweety and gave me my birthday present a few days early and gosh, it''s a gorgeous pink sapphire pendant! I think I just found a new favorite colored stone.

.83 ct pink pear sapphire in an 18kt two tone setting with 28 round diamonds VS G-H and 5 fancy yellow diamonds in the bail. Total diamond wt is .29 cts.

Thanks Widget! He actually picked it out all by himself, no hints from me! He was so sweet and he knew he did good so he couldn''t wait for my birthday which is on Saturday. I think he was as excited as me!

Thanks JulieN, FireGoddess and Movie Zombie! The setting is very intricate and just gorgeous on either side and the pink stone just sets everything off. My husband''s favorites though are the yellow diamonds on the bail.

FireGoddess, well.....he actually purchased it from DBOF. I''m not sure who made the setting.

I never came back after the neck shot - it''s gorgeous! Bigger than I thought it was and really lovely! I know it''s 2 tone - is it rose gold around the sapphire or yellow gold like the bail with the yellow diamonds?

Thanks FireGoddess! It''s yellow gold around the sapphire and on the bail with the yellow diamonds. The rest of the pendant is white gold with white diamonds. It is surprisingly large. I really, really love it and the best part is my hubby picked it out on his own! Now I just need some earrings to match!
