Sorry I am a little behind on responding. I just graduated law school last weekend and have been super busy. Anyway, to answer some of the questions:

Lynn B: I used the Sony Cybershot T-5 camera (5 mega-pixels). This camera is especially awesome for outdoor photos (like flower shots and when sunlight hits the diamond).

sunkist: I am a photography fanatic, so I just played around a lot with the macro mode on my camera while tilting the ring to take shots when there is the most sparkle. Takes some time, but I tried to be patient

zhuzhu: it is a Blue Nile shared prong setting. I liked it cause it was very simple and classic.

I took a few more pictures today to keep myself amused during my breaks from studying for the bar. Studying in the summer is so depressing, but taking pictures of my ring is certainly a nice diversion!

I missed your post the first time around... beautiful ring! I love the setting side-view especially, it is different from what you usually see in a shared prong and I love the limited metal look from the top-view. It looks huge on you too, of course!
