Pics of RB with cushion halo help

Hi,
I have a 1.27 round brilliant with trillions on the sides. I'd like to change my setting into a cushion halo. I'll post a pic of what I'm looking for but I would appreciate any help with pictures to try to find what I want. I do want a bezel or any design outside the halo. I like just the diamonds with as little as metal showing. I'm also not sure what to do with my trillions. How would it look if I put a halo around them also? Any help would be appreciated.

Actually yours is my favorite that I've seen yet on this site. Can you give me details on it?

It is definitely possible to use your sidestones with a halo. Victor Canera made this lovely setting. I know the centre stone isn't round but you get the idea.

It's a custom setting by Christopher Designs. I basically like the bottom of one ring, but wanted a halo similar to a JB Starr piece. We ended up scaling down the stones on the CD setting and changed a few things (like the bottom from large and open to modified knife edge):


This JB Starr was the inspiration for my halo. I liked the 2-sided diamonds and the cushiony shape. Mine is a quite a bit different as it is not as round, but (thankfully) I like it more.

My center stone is so much smaller! It is a VVS2. I almost wish I could get a larger stone with not as great quality. My husband bought this for me 9 years ago and wanted a great stone.

You could use the sidestones and make a sapphire (or other gemstone) 3 stone ring?

It's tricky to do side stones with a halo... but if done right, it could be fab! ...and it would take up some major real estate on that finger of yours!

Thanks, @LindaRx... I'm not sure about the size, but my setting is on consignment with @ericad of LoveAffairDiamonds.com -- she may be able to answer any questions you have. I can tell you that the pave is very delicate. Sorry, I'm not much help.
