I''m starting my search now and would love to see pics of princess and radiant diamonds in the 1.5 to 2 carat range. Love the look of halos but don''t know if it will be too big or not. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated!!!

Is it just me, or does a 1 ct. radiant look smaller than a 1 ct. princess?

Actually, I think in most cases radiants look larger than princesses especially if they''re rectangular in shape. A well-cut radiant faces up larger because in most cases it isn''t cut as deeply as a princess cut. For example, my 1.03 carat radiant is 6.07x5.66, and I don''t think many 1 carat princess cuts have that large of dimensions. They are usually around 5.5x5.5 I think.

I guess the pictures I were looking at weren''t showing a 1 ct. radiant, maybe a .75. Damn, now I might have to change my mind again. I really like the radiant cut, but so far, the ones I usually like are 1+ ct.
