Ditto- I think the guess was $8 low end- $11 high end...
Just wondering why it''s so important to know what we think it is worth...?
Do you think you ''got a real deal'' or worried you were ''ripped off''?

I just hate being ripped off that''s all.

I figure if I paid too much, I would return it since he has a 30day money back guarantee.

Plus, I didn''t know much about diamond values, so I figure if I post here, some experienced, intelligent people would chime in.

LOL, should have looked for the experience, intelligent opinions before had the ring custom made!

Never the less, it''s a pretty ring, again, I hope she enjoys, and if the guesses from yesterday were in the ballpark, you probably weren''t ripped off...
Now you can go focus on that romantic proposal!

Much luck to you and your lovely lady

thanks again

question on the proposal part: is it better to have the ring displayed in the box while i propose, or should i say what i have to say first and then open the box after and then ask her to marry me. (so that she isn''t distracted by the ring, and actually listens to my verbage).

i was thinking show the box with it closed, say what i have to say, open the lid, and ask her to marry me? and then have her close her eyes as i place it on her finger?

thats beautiful

Gorgeous ring!! Makes me want an asscher!! She''s going to love it!!!

As for the proposal, honestly, I think you should do the verbage first, ask her to marry you, and then bring out the box, open it and wait for her answer and then put it on her finger. When my FI proposed, he did some verbage, got on his knees and took out the box and I honestly lost it there....my brain shut down and all I could think of was OMG! Then he asked and I said yes and he forgot to open the box. He handed me the box and I opened it myself. He did put the ring on my finger though when he finally remembered to!

Maybe you may want to skip the box altogether and just have the ring in your pocket. She may notice the box lump. Good luck and don''t forget to post handshot pictures!!

Also, would it be ok if I add the ring to the halos collection thread? TIA!!!

Its a beautiful ring. Go get an appraisal, as they would be able to give you a value of it.

I think you should speak from the heart, tell her how you feel, ask her the question and then after she says yes and throws her arms around you, then take the box out of your back pocket or some other non-obvious place. Don''t display the ring box at all. She should be saying yes to you, not to the thought of a ring. Just my humble two cents....

Gorgeous ring!!!! She will love it I am sure!!!!

About the proposal, keep the ring in the closed box, until she said yes. When my FI proposed, I am too busy playing with my ring that I forgot to answer him. I didn''t even know how he asked me. All I can see is the ring. So....keep it closed until she said yes.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Very pretty ring. Good luck.

It''s lovely!

Very pretty! Best wishes on the proposal, and come back with hand shots of that beauty!

It''s beautiful! Don''t show her the ring until you have actually popped the question.
Bling can be so distracting.
