Peter Torraca/Scott Screiber ring is done

OMG! I got the final pics from Scott yesterday. I was going to try and wait until it came to post, but I cant wait.

He sent me a few pictures. The yellow hue is from the lighting and not the stones or the gold. I have never seen the stones in person I completely went on faith here and had them sent directly to Scott. I believe that it is 3.26ctw in 14k WG.

There is a 24k inlaid benchmark that Scott put in for me on the inside of the shank.

He has it posted on FB and someone commented that I should have put a darker colored stone in it. I am very pleased with my aquamarine asschers since they are DH birthstone and our favorite shape.

Tell me what you think...Of course there will be pictures of the "box opening ceremony" when it arrives.

I love those stones - the cutting is gorgeous and the bezels embrace and highlight them. "calm, silky water" is a great descriptor; it reminds me of my favorite place: Lake Champlain in VT.

I cant stand the wait. He mailed it today. He said that it should be here in 3 days. I know that it isnt everyones cup of tea, but it is exactly what I wanted. I didnt want the setting to overshadow the stones and when I described the color I wanted I called it pool water. It is very simple and airy in a way.

I really like it. Some who post on FB may be uncomfortable with the austere minimalist ethos, but the ring wasn't made for them anyway. I also love the lake champlain and the best honey Ive ever had comes from there!
