Personalized Aisle Runners and Banners

These seem to be in all the weddings now.. But are very expensive to purchase.

I know I have heard of brides making their own. Are they traced and then painted from an enlarged copy of their
monogram ?

I would love to try this and save $150.00 for something that is going to be used for about 20 minutes

I cannot offer any suggestions to make one but these are the most reasonable ones I have seen depending on the lenght of your aisle.

I am going to do the aisle runner. You can get the runner from Micheal''s/Hobby Lobby-it''s about $35 but you can get coupons in the Sunday paper or print them offline. I made a monogram on word by downloading a few free fonts and piecing it together. It turned out really nice. I''m going to take it to Kinko''s to have it enlarged and then follow the directions on that site. I''ve read on other sites about other brides who have done it and it sounds fairly simple.
