Oh, My journey of upgrades...3 stone rings, 5 stones, 7 stones, halos, and solitaires... I've come to conclusion I LOVE classic five stone rings because of the finger coverage they bring. A row of bling is so so marvelous and appealing to my eye and I'm a sucker for fancies.

Wanted an upgrade for my 30th anniversary this month. A milestone celebration by far so decided to go in the 5 stone direction. Had so many pears already so decided to repurpose some and purchase some new ones for my upgrade. Have been admiring scintillating light brown diamonds so decided on 2ct pear 7.17 x 10.91 fancy light brown yellow for center.

I want to thank everyone who provided comments, thoughts and ideas in my Rocky Talk thread and @Niel, @Rfisher , and @yssie !! Helped me enormously!!

I was torn whether to go unplated white gold or 18yellow...Amy at David Klass helped me with that decision so may emails and phone calls...I so appreciate David Klass patience, expertise, and craftsmanship! What a magnificent team!!!

What an amazing piece! I've also recently discovered the great finger coverage a five-stone offers and have seen many lovely rings but nothing like this....I'm hoping you share finger shots when you receive it. Happy Anniversary!

I was sooo pushing for 18 unplated white because I luv it but Amy steered me in the yellow gold direction. You are right the yellow with these diamonds works very well.
