@whitewave yes! That would be great! I'm now a bit worried the 5mm will be too small! These ones were completely dwarfed in the setting and flopping around.

@Daisys and Diamonds Thank you! These were the 4.5mm-5mm pearls, one measured 4.6mm and one measured 4.7mm with my cheapo calipers. The jackets are designed for 5mm round studs.

Thank you! Your jackets seem flatter than mine- mine almost seem to have a "pocket" for the stones to sit in. I wonder if I'll need to go even bigger than the 5-5.5mms! Yours look stunning! And from the side, it doesn't look like they're touching the pearl base at all.

Right, the pearl seems to be touching the prongs, which might be ok.

The 5.5mms were the winner! I'll take photos in a bit. They were advertised as 5-5.5mm but both pearls from the Pearl Source were 5.6mm (I'll take it!) they're a great fit.
