Just wanted to get some feedback about a pear stone I''m considering - if the cut is good, if i''ll be getting the bang for the buck, etc etc. (since I know of no ideal cuts for pears, or other fancy cuts for that matter, and I''m also a newbie and was hoping you guys would help me out on this one!)

Carat weight: 1.23
Color: D
Clarity: VS1
Depth %: 62.2%
Table %: 56%
Symmetry: Very good
Polish: Excellent
Girdle: Medium to thick, faceted
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 9.45 x 6.01 x 3.74 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.57
Price: $8,442

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a good candidate. Get the crown height number and run it through the DIY AGA Cut Class grader. You will get some information that is unbiased and free, as well.

Of course, make your final decision based on how YOU like the looks of the stone. Without knowing the crown height percentage, I would not make a final conclusion on even the screening result.
