Peach tourmaline in Rose Gold LOGR setting

Finally got it back from my jeweller.

The camera shows the darkened brown shadow but it really isn''t in RL

Thank you Lorelei... Miss Vicki is very precious to me. She was very sick when we got her and we didn''t think she would make it. But She did and what joy she has brought to our family!

Pretty! I really like it in that setting. This is the first LOGR settings without a halo I''ve seen.

I think it really turned out well. What a headache, though. The color of this particular toumaline was such a challenge to match with the color of the gold. The white gold just absolutely made the stone look so washed out and I had a yellow gold setting with halo of diamonds and that also made the stone look unappealing.

It''s a very dainty (sp) setting. Very feminine. I had a halo one but the diamonds made the stone look very light and not so good.

Miss Vicki is very patient with me, especially if there food involved!
