Oh no, if I do go for it it will be the lovely YG petite plain one!

@Snowdrop13 I didn’t try on a petite size but can I strongly recommend you think about a 14mm pearl rather than the automatic 13mm for the petite net. You will have seen from @yssie‘s post that she has her very special round 14mm in a petite net. From those photos you can how beautiful it looks filled out.

I did see my opal net displayed with a smaller pearl than my 16mm - it looked so sad….and totally better once it had a bigger pearl to fill it out.!

@CMN @Crystal_Dreams I’ve been looking at these online. Having seen the pearls in person, would you say they’re all of the same quality? I wonder if it would be safe to buy one from overseas and get a great pearl?

I would say there is significant variation between pearls. In general they are reasonably nice pearls, but there is a BIG range of potential difference and variation. I said this when someone asked the same question about PP. the company has some nice pearls, and I believe the pearls are superior to what you may buy at a non pearl specialist jeweller for example. However, it would not be true to say that they are ALL ‘nice’ (because that would depend on your definition of ‘nice’)! Yssie’s pearls for example, were hand picked out of a lot of potential pearls, some of which didn’t wow me. Some are truly lovely! Others are more comparable to what you may buy from other sources. I don’t want to talk too much about other sources given this is CMN’s beautiful lavalier thread, but my takahashi WSS could hold their own or outshine a significant number of the WSS I viewed there. On the other hand, the pearl my MIL has purchased is nicer than my takahashi. And that was a standard stock pearl.
