Hi everyone just wondered if anyone can briefly describe what Palladium is? vs. Platinum? I haven't ever heard about it. I'm curious because my fiance bought a wedding band that is inscribed PD on the inside of the band with 12 diamonds, 6 on each side of the big diamond in the middle.

Palladium - Wikipedia

Palladium is another element in the same group as platinum. Not as heavy as platinum, but fine for jewelry. I have a wedding band in it with the PD stamp. A nice choice for a white metal.
