Paging Love in Bloom!

I was browsing through a thread that I believe has been deleted (perhaps another, though) when I saw your gorgeous, periwinkle oval spinel. I quickly rushed to the site you said you'd purchased it from, and was SO EXCITED when I saw one just like it! And a great price, to boot!

I click, and only when it takes me to the gem do I see: SOLD. It was yours.

Why, WHY would they keep it up after it sold? Boo.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: More photos, please? While I try to find my own, of course. I know I'm in the minority, but I love the lighter blue sapphires/spinels.

Lol EBree-she keeps them up until the return by date has passed. That sucker was gorgeous though. I totally agree that we need more pics!

EBree!!! Isn't the situation about SOLD stones on that site absolutely madening?

I have been stressed and busy and haven't been on PS as much. I've been sick for a month now

. Apparently it's supposed to be bronchitis and I'm feeling better today so I'll soon take some more pics of my spinel just for you! I love that stone but was actually contemplating *gasp* giving it up because ovals aren't really a good shape for me, if that makes any sense. That spinel is waaaaay too pretty not to be set into jewelry and enjoyed!

I'll revert with pictures later

I'm so sorry you've been sick! I'm glad you're feeling better now, though.

...and if for some reason, you decide the spinel just isn't for you, I know of...someone...that'd snap it up in a HEARTBEAT!

I thought about it when I realized I probably have more stones than I will ever set! Having now 3 purple stones, the cushion and this spernova oval spinels along with a modified square brilliant amethyst. All are unique enough in their own ways. It would be a tough decision to let go of this gem as it was one of my first colored stone purchases and is so bright and sparkly. Though I would still have my supernova Umba to keep me company. You probably understand about the awesomeness of the supernovas

Oh I do... I'm still contemplating what to do with my topaz supernova. I think it's too big for my fingers, but I want to be able to enjoy it too!! I'll probably end up putting it in a pendant but it's still up in the air...

I think I mentioned in your original thread that I told BF that I want a supernova oval for my ering. So I'm determined, and have been for a while. I'm probably going to have him get one custom cut unless one pops up.
