I got an email back from GOG and they said that "Gabriel is quite flexible with their designs, so yes, they can make this for a square shape center diamond. "

That being said, I'm back to square as I probed deeper to her and square is definitely the way to go. So for true square, I guess I'm looking at princess or asscher. She did say absolutely no rectangle. Seems with a princess I can get a bigger stone for my budget of around 6k for the stone.

I'm glad you dug a little deeper- I was hoping you'd stick to square since she was hinting at wanting one.

I like the radiant cut you have listed too it is my top choice right now. I'm trying to wrap my head around the .97, not being quite a carat. It's just my perception of it. Yet it is bigger on top than these others. Like this one.

About the same size on top, but bigger underneath, which is where the extra weight goes, but overall cheaper. Crazy and even price differences on the exact same diamond (same GIA #) from different vendors.

If you had some time and you could wait until IDJ Opens again on July 11th, Yekutiel and his sister Shulie can find you a princess diamond or any other square diamond you need at the best price within your budget.
They helped me with my two diamonds and both times IDJ was cheaper for the same diamond that was listed with other vendors such as BN, James Allen had them listed for.
They also carry the Gabriel settings and Jeff Cooper Settings as well.
